PDF Management Services Pty Ltd Overview

Is WineSkills II suitable for wineries that have been in business for a long time or is it just for newcomers?
WineSkills II will be suitable for all sectors of the industry. The greatest challenge facing most Australian Wine Companies is the high level of competition for distributors, shelf space and customers. WineSkills will give you a competitive edge by helping you to become more aware, more skilled and more strategic in your approach to market.

Will I have to sit through two days of lectures?
No. We know that people learn best by being involved and being stimulated. The WineSkills workshop will use adult learning principles that ensure a high level of interactivity and participation. Participants will be using their workbooks, our models and other resources to develop an action plan for their own products.

Can more than one person come from my winery?
Yes, we encourage up to two representatives for each winery to attend. It is good to have someone to work with and to help keep the business planning processing underway following the workshop.

Why is there a charge this time?
The Australian Government, through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, provided funding to deliver WineSkills 1 and have again committed significant resources to this second Program. It was agreed between the Government and the Winemakers’ Federation that it is reasonable to ask industry to contribute to cover the cost of the venue hire and catering.
